Our 5 Day tour, a comfortable and well-paced journey through Cusco takes you on a journey by car and train to Machu Picchu. Third day hike Inca trail or Maras – salt mines and moray the Incan agriculture laboratory, in the afternoon train ride to Aguas Calientes where you will see impressive views of Inca terraces still used by the villagers and andes snow-capped mountains and the next day visit one of the new 7 wonders of the world Machu Picchu.

Daily Itinerary
At 12:30 the tour guide will meet you at your hotel in Cusco to begin the tour. From here, you’ll head to Plaza de Armas, where you will admire from the outside the famous cathedral of Cusco and the beautiful colonial architecture surrounding the main square, featuring charming traditional balconies. Following, you’ll continue walking through an ancient Inca-built street to the Q’oricancha sunTemple. At the Q’oricancha you will be able to compare and contrast the building methods of the Inka culture and Catholicism. It’s was the key spiritual center of the Inkas, which leads to all 4 quarters of the Inka Empire. You’ll see also a bronze, high altar to be seen.
From Q’oricancha, your group will go to the famous San Pedro market, where you’ll take our private transport for 25 minutes outside of the city. You will be taken to the majestic Inka site, Sacsayhuaman with enigmatic, 200 ton monoliths, Your guide will explain about it and then, you will be able to explore on your own the site.
From Sacsayhuaman, you will take a 5 minutes ride to the Q’enqo Inka site to see the fascinating Incan altars. Afterward, visit Cristo Blanco, a panoramic viewpoint offering breathtaking views and perfect photo opportunities over the city of Cusco. We will then drive back down to Cusco city where the tour ends in the main square or we will return you to your hotel.
We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at eight morning. You and your guide will take our private transport to the first stop, the “Manos de la Comunidad” Llama farm. Here, you will see the traditional animals of the Incas: llamas, alpacas, vicuña, and guanaco. Your guide will give you background information, show you a potato display and a textile center, showing how the wools are woven and colored. Good quality alpaca wool will be for sale. Then, will drive to the Lookout Point of sacred valley, for beautiful views and photos. Following, we are going to continue the journey up to the Pisac Inca site, situated on top of Pisac Mountain within the Sacred valley. Your tour guide will take you to the most impressive spots and guided. Then, we’ll drive along the Vilcanota sacred valley river for about forty five minutes, till we arrive to Urubamba town, where we’ll stop for lunch (not Included). You will have an incredible selection of fresh meals, served buffet-style, served buffet-style.
After lunch, we will drive to Ollantaytambowe, where the second heaviest Inca monoliths are to be found. The ruins have an incredible Temple of the Sun, Moon, and also the Temple of the ten Niches. This living Inca village displays narrow walkways, lined with water channels.

Non Hikers
We will pick you up from your hotel around 8 a.m. and head to the inkan agriculture laboratory in Moray. This beautiful drive is about one hour. On your drive, you’ll see the snow-capped peaks of the Andes, lush yellow fields of wheat, and some villages. Finally, you will arrive at the fascinating display of terraces of Moray, its boasts three amphitheater-like terraces, made by the Inkas. Those terraces, which are carved deep into the earth, in the shape of a bowl, were thought to be used to determine the optimal conditions for growing crops.
When you are done exploring Moray, you will head to the salt mines of Maras. The village is known as a former salt-producing center in Cusco and is thought to date back all the way to pre-inkan time. There are over 3,000 salt pools carved within the mountain side, that are filled daily by a stream of water. This beautiful area is perfect for you if you wish to visit something different than the ruins.
Following we will drive back to Ollantaytambo town and then take train to Aguas Calientes town, the train trip is just under two hours. The train follows the Urubamba sacred valley River, until we reach Aguas Calientes. Along the way, you’ll see spectacular views of farmlands, snow-capped mountains and the mighty Urubamba River, one of the sources of the Amazon River.
Hikers: Max Altitude 2,700/ Hiking Distance 12 km
We will walk to the train station for 5 minutes and take 6 am train and follows the Urubamba sacred valley River, until we reach Km 104, where we’ll begin our hike. Along the way, you will see spectacular views of the farmlands, snow- capped mountains and the mighty Urubamba River, one of the sources of the Amazon River. At Km 104, we will begin our trek. Once you have everything you need, we’ll take a group photo, before visiting our first Inca site.
After the orientation and tour of the Incan site, we will begin the hike upwards, as we head for the Classic Inca Trail. If the weather is clear, we’ll have tremendous views of Machu Picchu mountain, the Urubamba River and other surrounding Incan Sites. After hiking for 3- hours, we will reach the gorgeous Inka ruins on the Inca Trail, Wiñay Huayna (Forever Young) at 8,500 ft (2600m). Most people do not get the opportunity to see the elaborate water fountain, temples and agricultural terraces, which provide a perfect opportunity to learn about the history of the Incas.
The site is bordered by steep drops, allowing you to see the stunning mountains surrounding the area. From Wiñay Huayna, we’ll walk to the Sun Gate, from where we’ll see the picturesque landscape of Machu Picchu. After taking in the once-in- a-lifetime views, we will begin our descent to Machu Picchu itself.
A big advantage of this hike is that, by the time we reach Machu Picchu, most of the day travelers will have returned home, so you will have the area nearly to yourself. After taking photos, we will take a bus down to our hotel in Aguas Calientes and check in.
Today you will visit Machu Picchu. You will be visiting the new 7 wonders of the world Machu Picchu, the crystal city of the Inka civilization. You will confirm, together with your guide, the best time to start out the day according your entrances ticket.
Most people prefer to rise at 5 a.m. walk to the bus station to take one of the first buses up to Machu Picchu. It will be nice to go to the ruins as soon as they open, at 6 a.m., to catch the magical mists on the site because the sun rises. after a twenty 5 minute bus ride to Machu Picchu, your guide can take you to the best views before the day trippers arrive. Then, we are going to begin the 2 hour guided walking tour, exploring all of the famous sites of this spectacular inka citadel: The Sun Temple, The Royal spot, The Intihuatana (sun dial rock), Main Plaza, Temple of the three Windows, The trained worker Sector, the Temple of the Condor and lots of others. after the tour, you’ll have time to explore Machu Picchu again on your own. If you’ve booked permits to climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain, you’ll head to that adventure. At around 1 pm you’ll need to take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes to enjoy lunch at one of the several restaurants there.
Be sure to arrive at the train station 30 minutes before your departure. The return train to Ollantaytambo takes approximately two hours, followed by a 1-hour and 40-minute private transfer back to your hotel in Cusco.

We will pick you up in Cusco about four a.m., from whichever hotel you’re staying at within Cusco. it’s about a 2 and a half hour drive in our private van, throughout that we’ll pass through ancient villages and see some wonderful views of the Andes, andean farming fields, quechua children and llama farms.
we’ll begin the hike at 4,550 m. From here, it’ll be about 2 hours uphill hike otherwise you could do on horseback riding (optional) to reach the famous Rainbow Mountain. on the way, you’ll enjoy amazing views of the range of mountains, glacial peaks, red mountains, rocky hills, and traditional llamas and alpacas grazing on the valley. As you reach the summit of the mountain, you’ll be able to spot some Andean wildlife. this can be the only place in Cusco where you can see wild Vicuñas, the Andean camel. Vicuñas are the same family as llamas, though they are smaller. Their wool is the most costly wool in the world. Once we reach the top of Rainbow Mountain, you’ll have enough time to absorb the impressiveness of the red mountains that surround this space. you will also see wonderful views of the valleys and Ausangate glacier Peak in front of you. Ausangate is the tallest mountain of the Cusco region (just under 21,000 ft elevation), and is part of the Cordillera Vilcanota range. while taking in these brilliant views, your guide will share some info with you about the composition of those mountains and how they became striated in the rainbow of colours. after taking a couple of amazing photos and soaking in the views, we’ll begin our descent with a 2 hour, downhill hike. Following, will catch our non-public van and you will be able to see the life-style of those native people, who still practice the ancient traditions of the Incas.
Here, they speak Quechua, practice their earth-based faith and agriculture. They honor the mountain spirits and the father Sun, to ensure that their farming crops and herds flourish. The natives also weave the textiles that you can find within the museums around Peru. we’ll then stop to enjoy a delicious, box lunch. Finally, we’ll begin our return trip back in our private transport back to Cusco. we’ll drop you off at your hotel around 3.5 p.m.
